My birthday!

*almost* one year pictures

These *almost* thing seems to be a theme with me. It is more of a take them when I can photo ops...these are going to count as his 12 month...I can't believe that is even around the corner! Gabe now has a few "words" - he can mimick uh, oh and of course the one he has had for a while - "ella" or "auh" as he says (all the time).

Haircut...again

I don't have pictures but Ella and I cut Gabe's hair on Friday. She asked if we could cut it in a mohawk and I didn't think that was a good idea but I let her help me anyway. We finally got him still so I could cut the back when Ella asks "uh, Mom...is he dead?" That pretty much sums up Gabe, if he ain't moving...something is wrong.

Playtime with Camden

Aunt Jamie, Uncle Chris and cousins Kingston and Camden came to stay the night on Thursday. Camden and Gabe had fun with each other as the big kids were playing Star Wars Wii! The last pictures are from the reunion on Saturday. We stayed inside and played with the babies.

Trickbox FULL of tricks

I have pictures to post but I am still recovering from the move! Gabe is able to do a few on command monkey tricks these days. He has mastered patty cake, touchdown and the lizard. He has to "want" to do it though. Sometimes he pulls them all out one right after another - usually for the right "treat". A first birthday is right around the corner...I can't believe it!

He's going to love this when he gets big....

Busted....again - crawled from his highchair onto the kitchen cabinets and into the baked beans on July 4th....sadly, the only picture I have of Gabe from the 4th.

Gabe enjoyed his breakfast this morning! He got a banana too.

I'm 9 months old!

And it has gone by so fast! Gabe went to the doctor on Friday for his 9 month checkup. It was a family affair as Ella and Jude tagged along as well. Gabe is a little dude. His stats are:

Weight - 16lbs 7 ounces (2%)
Height - 27 1/2 inches (24%)
Head - 17 1/4 (12%)

Yes, that would be SECOND percentile for weight. He does not look that small though. I think it is because he is so active - he can crawl up the steps, onto the metal trashcan and up onto the desk...he is a monkey! Gabe loves his brother and sister and Ella is getting really good at helping with him. She put him in his car seat this morning for us. He also had his first camping excursion this weekend - there will be pictures to come. The only thing Gabe loves more than his sister and brother is...WATER. He loves to crawl in the shower and play. He showered with three different people this morning. He did NOT want to get out.
